First person bio
I am the author of Paper Planes in Bangalore, my debut novel that tells a deeply personal story of love, loss, healing, and finding oneself amidst the vibrant chaos of Bangalore. I’m currently pursuing an international MBA, a journey that has pushed me to grow both intellectually and emotionally, all while balancing my passions for storytelling and entrepreneurship.
Born and raised in Bangalore, Karnataka, I completed my schooling and college right here in this city that never ceases to inspire me. Initially, I trained as a chemical engineer and even worked briefly in the field, but my heart gradually steered me toward business. That led me to the MBA path, where I’ve found new ways to challenge myself and combine creativity with strategy.
The quiet months of the COVID lockdown were a turning point for me. It was then that I discovered a deep love for reading—books that felt more like lifelines than leisure. I started to immerse myself in stories full of emotional nuance and real-world complexity, which inspired me to try writing my own. For years, I kept my writing private, unsure if my voice was strong enough to reach others. Today, I’m proud to share my story with the world.
Beyond the pages, I am also the founder of CocoLihe, a chocolate brand that focuses on health-conscious and diabetic-friendly treats. This venture is very close to my heart because it combines my love for innovation with a desire to make a positive impact on people’s lives. Whether it’s through my writing or my work with CocoLihe, I’m driven by a simple mission: to make people feel seen, understood, and a little less alone.
I am a Libra, with Vishakha nakshatra guiding my path—a combination that blesses me with a natural sense of balance, diplomacy, and determination. This cosmic alignment fuels my drive to create harmony through stories and meaningful connections, inspiring me to face challenges with grace and resilience.
When I’m not writing or studying, you’ll find me enjoying a quiet cup of tea (I’m a serious tea enthusiast!), tending to my garden, or working on new recipes and ideas for CocoLihe. I also enjoy paper crafts and reading fiction — hobbies that keep my creative spirit alive.
I live in Bangalore surrounded by family and friends who have supported me every step of the way. Writing Paper Planes in Bangalore was both a personal and emotional journey, and I hope readers find a piece of their own story within its pages.
